A Big Thankyou

Just a few words of thanks, firstly to everyone for coming it was a great day and it wouldn't have been the same without you. Well that's a lie really it would have been much cheaper, only joking we loved every minute of it and smiled from start to finish.

A few special thanks to our entertainment, the Singing Waiters, Ian, Tim and Ruth who were fantastic and were still going at three in the morning, a small apology to Jayne and Keith who had the bedroom above the music lounge but at least you know the words to "Jerusalem" now.

Jason Issacs who was fantastic and far too good looking to sing at weddings. That was of course the womens opinion not mine and  there are a few inquiries as to when his next gig is......

Gemini disco, Steve you were an absolute star and as you said on the night the "you are only as good as your audience" if that's the case then we must have been fantastic because you were, everyone said you were great and we got so much more than we expected.

Our special dancing instructor Stuart who entertained us with his unique dancing style, but we have made a collective decision not to have you as head of the Fallbarrow dancing academy.

Our other guest singers Lucy Thompson and Steve Baker you know who you are Steve, Watch out for Lucy she is going to be  a star.

My various dancing partners, thank you for putting up with me standing on your toes especially Katy who only smiled and never complained once.

Thanks To Simon and Jill for finishing all the wine you know we don't like to see wine go to waste, sorry we made you cry and Katherine and Mark who weren't foreigners they just had there own special language.

Thanks to Grant for entertaining the children when Steve had finished and thanks to the children for entertaining Grant. Thanks to Charley for doing the hair on the morning and keeping Lisa calm, and as my dad told  you on the day, he thinks your gorgeous, and Ruth the soprano singer he thinks your gorgeous too.

To all the staff at Langdale Chase whose service was second to none and Amy and Andrew who catered to our every need. It was everything you said it would be and more!

 

A few more then I'm  finished, Dawn and Gillian your readings made our service so special, we know it was a lot to ask of you both. Thanks to Tess ( Lisa's mam)  for only crying four times, Millie was counting but joking aside thanks from the bottom of our heart for everything you do for us you and know that both you and Dawn are center of Lisa and Millie's life and they love you heaps.

 

Thanks to Nicola who played the piano you were fantastic  and you could make a lot of money doing this if your Dad doesn't take too much for his cut.Thanks to Ann Marie, Mary Ann, Anne-Marie, sorry for getting your name wrong on the place card and the cookie.  Michael who was taking the photographs thanks for all you did it meant a lot to us. Scott I don't think your new career as a 'dog walker' is going to be a  success, but thanks anyway. Thanks again to Gillian for all you did including dog walking, taxi service and child care.

Thanks to Nyree and Chris, for doing the last minute running around for us........the day wouldn't of been the same without and you know exactly what we mean!

 

Mally you were a great Best man and are a great friend thanks for being you. I  hope you enjoyed the day I know  its a tough job but I  don't think anyone noticed your nerves and the hotel staff said that the finger nail marks in the table which you were gripping onto should come out with some French polishing.

Mandy, Wendy, Kim and Libby thanks for being there for me always you are very special people, thanks for dancing with the singing waiters Mandy I know how shy you are, and by the way that wasn't a microphone in his pocket!

Libby you always go beyond the call of duty thanks again for your hard work and running about and I promise not to tell anyone how good you are at table plans ! Also a thank you to Fin for allowing us to share his 7th Birthday.

Finally Dad thanks for being there for me always, you are the best Dad anyone could wish for and i hope I am always like you. love You.

I better stop there because I might start crying again.

 

What started out as a few words has turned into something a bit longer, I  suppose this is a reflection of the memories that you have created for us which is priceless and cannot be bought off a shelf. You have made our day so special and we thank you for that from the bottom of our hearts.
